A guide for applicants to record and show off their tutoring skills.

Hi there!

To help us evaluate your tutoring skills, please follow the steps below to submit a video demonstration of your teaching abilities.

1) Check Your Internet Speed

  • Ensure your internet speed is at least 1-2 Mbps for both upload and download.

  • You can test your speed here.


2) Understand the Online Classroom


3) Access the Lesson Space Demo

4) Record Your Lesson Using Vidyard

  • Install Vidyard:
    Download the Vidyard lesson recorder by clicking here. Click "Add to Chrome" to install the extension.

  • Start Recording:
    Open the Lesson Space demo. Click the Vidyard icon in the top right corner of your browser, select "screen and cam," and click "Start recording."

  • Teach Your Lesson:
    Record a 2-4 minute demonstration using teaching materials like a past paper or worksheet. Use the pen tool to make notes.
    โ€‹

  • Stop and Save: Click the Vidyard icon again to stop recording. A new tab will open with your video. Follow the prompts to share your video via email.

  • Submit Your Video: Email the video file or share the Vidyard video link with us. If Vidyard doesnโ€™t work for you, try using Vimeo or send your video through WeTransfer.
