A guide for applicants to record and show off their tutoring skills.

To help us evaluate your tutoring skills, please follow the steps below to submit a video demonstration of your teaching abilities.
1) Check Your Internet Speed
Ensure your internet speed is at least 1-2 Mbps for both upload and download.

2) Understand the Online Classroom
Please read about how to use our Virtual Classroom.
3) Access the Lesson Space Demo
Open the Lesson Space demo classroom.
Ignore the "free trial" message and click the "+" sign on the top left-hand corner to begin.
4) Record Your Lesson Using Vidyard
Install Vidyard:
Download the Vidyard lesson recorder by clicking here. Click "Add to Chrome" to install the extension.
Start Recording:
Open the Lesson Space demo. Click the Vidyard icon in the top right corner of your browser, select "screen and cam," and click "Start recording."
Teach Your Lesson:
Record a 2-4 minute demonstration using teaching materials like a past paper or worksheet. Use the pen tool to make notes.
Stop and Save: Click the Vidyard icon again to stop recording. A new tab will open with your video. Follow the prompts to share your video via email.
Submit Your Video: Email the video file or share the Vidyard video link with us. If Vidyard doesn’t work for you, try using Vimeo or send your video through WeTransfer.
5) Video Content Guidelines:
Teach a concept you plan to tutor at Teach Me 2.
Provide a clear, engaging lesson demonstration of any topic within the field.
