We want you to land your first job as soon as possible 🎉
Tips and Hints to Landing Jobs
Please see these articles for ways you can maximize your chances of being selected for a job (click links to read more):
- Apply to verified jobs and alerted jobs only
- Update your tutor availability regularly so Tutor Placement Team knows you are active and keen to tutor.
- Maximize your profile to heighten the chances of being selected for a job.
- Don't forget to update your banking details too, so that you don't miss a payment!
- Set yourself apart from other tutors by offering the Good Match Guarantee. If the customer isn't happy with you after the first lesson, offer the lesson free. Customers are far more likely to choose you instead of others if they know you're committed to their satisfaction. You can do this in your personal details settings.
Tutor Resources
We require our tutors to source their own resources. We always will tell you what curriculum a student needs to be taught in the Job Ad.
Preparation is REALLY important, regardless of what you're tutoring. We specifically don’t provide you with any course material so that you can tailor your approach to match your learner’s exact needs.
That being said, if you require some support, we'd suggest you explore our collection of resources.
If you are looking for ideas to help prepare for your first tutoring lessons I would suggest looking at these articles:
