Tutor Code of Conduct Violations and Unacceptable Behaviour

As a Teach Me 2 tutor, the following conduct is considered misconduct when violated and may result in disciplinary action:

  • Failing to attend any scheduled lessons.

  • Failing to complete the stated commitment period agreed upon before accepting the tutoring job.

  • Cancelling lessons with insufficient notice (less than 6 business hours) given to the client.

  • Offering to tutor Teach Me 2's clients privately (breaching our non-circumvention clause).

  • Discussing your tutoring rates with your learners/clients.

  • Using inappropriate language (e.g., swearing, derogatory, or racial comments) or making inappropriate suggestions or lewd remarks when communicating with your learners/clients or Teach Me 2's internal staff members.

  • Using inappropriate body language, gestures, or acting in a condescending manner towards your learners/clients.

  • Commenting on the appearance of your learners/clients in any way.

  • Consuming alcohol, smoking, or using illicit substances during lessons.

  • Indecently exposing yourself to your learners/clients.

  • Acting in a manner that could be construed as threatening or invasive to your learners/clients.

  • Sending inappropriate text messages to your learners/clients or having any contact with them regarding matters unrelated to their lessons.

  • Having anyone other than yourself stand in for you and conduct any of your lessons on your behalf.
